To grow our team, Omexco is looking for a creative Textile Designer to join our dynamic design studio in Leuven, near Brussels. You are passionate about interior design, colour, and materials, and you are looking for a new challenge in the high-end wallcoverings market. Come join our team and share your enthusiasm!
• Create repeats, adjust scales, and adapt artwork according to manufacturing specifications using professional design software.
• Develop colourways for each new collection using screen printing and digital software.
Many daily tasks involve collaborative efforts, in particular:
• Assisting the production team in developing new products.
• Helping create layouts and presentations for collection books and other sales tools.
• Participating in selecting designs and artwork to be translated into wallcoverings.
• BA or Master’s degree in Textile Design. Knowledge of screen printing is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Good knowledge of AVA CAD software is a plus.
• Professional experience as a creative designer and colourist in wallcoverings or textile industry is an advantage.
• A problem-solver who is energetic and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent eye for colour, design, and materials, with particular attention to detail.
• Flexibility with task management.
• We are a multilingual company; working proficiency in either French, Dutch, or English is required.
